We’re registered and regulated
We’re registered with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) as a payment institution agent, which means we must follow strict standards when it comes to accessing and processing your data. You can find more information here.
We’re also IASME, CyberEssentials and ISO27001 certified.
GDPR Compliance
Your data is handled according to General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This ensures your data and data rights are secure. Control over your data
We will never sell your personal data to third-party companies. You have complete control over your data and you can delete it at any point in time.
Your data security
We adhere to industry best practices to ensure your data is always secure from the time you share it with us till you need to access it again. We encrypt all your data from transit to storage using industry-standard 256-bit encryption.
To make sure your data is kept safe, our services are routinely inspected and tested by external experts (including penetration testing).
Third-party providers
We use third-party providers to offer specific services on Maji including showing your account information on our platform and providing 1-1 coaching. We will always ask for your permission before we share any data with these external parties. All parties we work with have been rigorously vetted and follow best practices.

Your Employer
If your employer is paying for your subscription, they will never see your bank details or personal finance data. We share anonymised, aggregated data on general trends from the financial healthcheck and open banking tools. We help your employer use this data to review whether they have the right benefits and interventions in place for your workplace. These overall trends will never be linked to you as an individual.
